Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Announces June Newsletter and Supplier Showcase!

The South Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) is excited to share their June 2024 newsletter alongside news of their upcoming Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Supplier Showcase.

The SPC Supplier Showcase will be held on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oakton College in Des Plaines, Illinois (1600 E. Golf Road). This event is completely free for attendees.

Benefits of Attending:

  • Connect with Suppliers: The showcase offers a relaxed format where you can browse supplier booths and discuss your joint purchasing needs throughout the two-hour event.
  • Earn CEUs: Thanks to SPC partner Sourcewell, attendees can attend their presentation and earn one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hour towards The Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP) certification.
  • Free Lunch: Enjoy a complimentary boxed lunch provided by the SPC sponsoring Councils of Government (COGs).

The Illinois Association of Public Procurement Officials, Inc. (IAPPO), a chapter of NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement(NIGP) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of public purchasing officials throughout the State of Illinois.


Our membership includes representatives from state and local government, as well as special districts and public education agencies who are concerned with professionalism and continuing education in the purchasing profession.
